wouldn't roll over onto her back again. But he wasn't sure
how he knew that.
And as he pulled her over - which wasn't
easy with only one wing - he spotted his glasses lying
underneath the workbench just beyond her. Right beside the old
doctor's case that looked like it hadn't seen the light of day for
many a year. The case she'd just taken the hammer from. He pulled
the bag over so it lay snugly against the professor's back. He
opened it and had a good old rummage inside. He knew what he was
looking for, but he wasn't sure exactly how he knew. And
when he found the bandage he knew how to put it on without even
thinking.
He pressed the padded bit tightly against her head, just
where the bleeding was, wrapping the rest around her head to keep
it all in place. |
